There is no game on Thursday Feb. 6. I think the team and fans need a little time to regroup.

If we are going to add a win, the next 2 games at home are about as good an opportunity as the Owls will have this year.

Stetson plays, and wins, another close game -- 65-62 over FGCU.

Great year for Stetson fans, not only has the team moved from the outhouse to the penthouse -- but almost all of the conference games have been very watchable. 9 of the 10 conference games have been decided by 5 points or less -- 5 of the 10 have been a one possession game.

1, 2, 3 ,3, 3 ,4 ,4, 5 ,5, 13

Lipscomb won tonight, which raises the bar to qualify for the ASUN tourney. As it stands now, a team must have at least 4 conference wins to play. It ain’t happening for the Owls this year.

If you are looking for a glimmer of hope.., it was the Owls first single digit loss in an 8 game stretch. Shooting was less than 40%, so we weren’t able to overcome the scoring onslaught by their center.

Maybe a little better shooting on Thursday can get us an ASUN win. FGCU does not have that one player we can’t contain.
