Kennesaw State Basketball has offered 6’5″ guard Chance Moore (2018) of Beckley Prep in West Virginia.
From Drew Hill: “The best part of my game is scoring,” Moore said. “I think I can help a team a lot in scoring because of my ability to score at all three levels. But, I also think I’m just a good team leader. I’m always telling my team what to do and where to go, and I’m always talking on the court and being active to make sure that everybody knows what they need to do.”
An extra year before college should help the 6-foot-5 guard touch up the parts of his game where he isn’t as confident, but it will also come with expectations of continued development.
“It will be a building process,” Moore said. “At first it was time to work on my grades, but then I got eligible. So, now it’s just a whole year to work on my body. I think that it will boost me a lot. I think that I’ll get a lot more offers, and it’ll make me a better player. I need to get better on defense and work on my strength, so this gives me the time to do that.”
Moore said he will take his time before making a college decision, but is hoping he can pick up offers from some “big-name” schools like Louisville, Michigan and Butler before the end of his prep season.”
