Owls Offer Athlete from Walton
Kennesaw State Football has offered Walton High School Athlete/DB B.J. Gibson (2019).
Quote from Walton Head Coach Daniel Brunner: ” BJ has done a fantastic job in the classroom as well as on the field! His character and work ethic are tremendous and continue to unlock opportunities for this young man!”
Quote from Walton Academic/Recruiting Coordinator Monty Bumper: “BJ is only just scratching the surface. He is a very good player/teammate and an extremely good person off the field. He comes from a strong family and has a really strong work ethic. KSU has done a really good job identifying the right type of student athlete to recruit.”
Recruit Georgia: “Gibson is still filling out his frame, and his weight lifting numbers prove that. He has been working at CB his entire time at Walton, and honest looks to have developed well at the position. He has a long running stride, which allows him to cover serious space. His length is a factor at all times. Against North Gwinnett he made a blocked kick as time expired to win the game. Gibson has pretty quick reactions too and does well with his breakups. I think he could play either FS or CB at the next level. I like the amount of PBU’s he got this year and he is all ready to go academically too. Gibson is the type of DB you just recruit, and figure out if he’s a FS or CB later.”
