Dulkoski commits to Lady Owls for 2013 season

Last week when new KSU Women’s Basketball Head Coach Nitra Perry Tweeted “Just got our first “YES” as a staff at Kennesaw State University! #HUGE,” we figured she landed a commitment and it was just a matter of time until we knew who. The mystery is now solved thanks to Twitter: Kelly Dulkoski.

Dulkoski is a 5’8″ guard out Jesse Carson High School in China Grove North Carolina, where she also played tennis and ran track. But basketball is her best sport as she was named the North Piedmont Conference Player of the Year by the Salisbury Post, and was referred to as “a deadly outside shooter.”

She averaged 17 points, 6 assists, 3 steals and knocked down 72 three pointers which was good enough for fifth in all of North Carolina. She will join the Lady Owls for the 2013-14 season.
