Owls offer Maryland guard

Tre Thomas (middle)

According to Marcus Helton of DMVElite.com, Kennesaw State has offered junior guard Tre Thomas out of Good Counsel High School in Olney Maryland. Thomas was on an unofficial visit to Kennesaw State today when he was offered. From what we can find, KSU is the 6’2″ 165 pound guard’s first offer. He also has interest from George Washington, Holy Cross, Quinnipiac, Towson and UNC Wilmington.

DMVElite.com said the following about Thomas: “Tre is a very good athlete who can really get to the basket.  He also employs a consistent pull up jumper.  His ability to get by defenders allows him to get these shots off. He is also a good rebounder on both ends of the floor and can play harassing defense on good offensive players.  He needs to get stronger and avoid dribbling into trouble.  Tre seems to have mid major potential as well.”
