Owls Keep Building East Coweta Pipeline!
Kennesaw State Basketball has gotten a commitment from East Coweta’s Brandon Stroud (2020). Stroud is a high school teammate of KSU Commitment Chris Youngblood.
SandysSpiel (04/21/19): “2020 6-6 W Brandon Stroud (East Coweta): The second head of the dynamic East Coweta duo had a scoreless first half before exploding for 20 in the second half/overtime to power the Knights past Stackhouse Elite. Stroud collected 12 rebounds, 2 steals and a block as well. Stroud took a couple bad jump shots during his first half struggles but found his groove in the second when he started to attack the rim and work his way closer to the paint. Even when his shot was off, he still battled on the offensive glass and won his team second chance opportunities.”
OnTheRadarHoops.com (02/16/19): “Stroud has a smooth shooting stroke that extends out to 22-feet. His shot is tight off the catch and he is getting better creating off the dribble. Despite his reputation as a shooter, the most impressive aspect of his game is his savvy. He understands angles while attacking the basket and he is an astute passer as well. Stroud can also rebound and start the break or he sprints the lane where he can knock down the spot up three by reading penetration and moving to the open area. His versatility alone makes him a hot commodity.”
