Owls Get Commitment from Alabama Big!

Kennesaw State Basketball has gotten a commitment from 6’9″ forward Cole LaRue (2020) of McGill-Toolen High School/Hawks Elite AAU in Mobile, AL.

BamaMixTape.com (June 2019): “The most skilled big in the state. Larue used an array of moves on the offensive end to score including a one legged “Dirk” fade away. He has good foot work on the block and handled the ball fairly well in transition. Larue can shoot it as well from mid range and three. He isn’t blessed with major athleticism but with a summer on a college campus, some of that can change as well as his  body. Kennesaw St had him in on an unofficial visit the day after the camp.”

PrepHoops.com (04/20/2019): Larue is another big to have eyes on. He has a solid mixture of size and skill. The 6’8 big can stretch the floor from 3, and he has shown the ability to make plays off the bounce. Larue is very active on the boards as well. He is starting to receive notice from MM coaches.
