The following quoted text is straight from KSUOwls.com,

Brian Bohannon, who has spent the past five seasons as quarterbacks/B-backs coach at Georgia Tech, will formally be introduced as Kennesaw State’s first head football coach at a press conference inside the Owls’ locker room at Fifth Third Bank Stadium on Tuesday beginning at 11 a.m. (ET).

Who might Bohannon want on his staff? The AJC’s Ken Seguira says,

Who might leave the (Georgia Tech) staff? A candidate is graduate assistant Preston Pehrson, who has worked with the offense for the past three seasons and is thought of highly. It would be highly unlikely for assistant coaches to leave with Bohannon.

We are purely speculating, but some other names from Bohannon’s prior stops that make sense include Georgia Tech offensive line coach and former Georgia Southern Head Coach Mike Sewak, Navy assistant coach/offensive line coach and former Georgia Southern graduate assistant Chris Culton, and Navy assistant coach/outside linebackers coach Tony Grantham (the brother of UGA defensive coordinator Todd Grantham)

UPDATE: Coach Bohannon will throw out the first pitch NEXT Tuesday against UGA.

Fans in attendance will have the opportunity to meet Kennesaw State head coach Brian Bohannon as the first ever KSU football coach will throw out the game’s first pitch and sign autographs throughout the evening.

Tuesday’s game will also feature $1 hotdogs and drinks from the concession stand.

The Owls will be taking on Alabama State on Tuesday night at 6:00 PM as the team looks for its sixth straight victory. KSU defeated Alabama State 2-1 on the road in February.

Center fielder Bo Way has a 19 game hitting streak and will look to extend that while Will Solomon is expected to take the mound for the Black and Gold.
